DELHI – AGRA – SAMODE – JAIPUR – UDAIPUR

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Upon arrival you will be welcomed by our representative & transferred to hotel. Delhi - capital of modern India. Many dynasties and rulers have flourished on its regal soil over the last 3000 years. The legacy still survives in many monuments varying from the 13th century mausoleum of the Lodi Kings to the buildings of British India's imperial past like the Parliament House and the Presidential Estate. Overnight at Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi sightseeing

Morning breakfast at hotel later proceed on a tour of Old Delhi, visit the Red Fort, Raj Ghat - a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, Ashoka Pillar and the mile-long Chandni Chowk bazaar. Later tour New Delhi, drive along Rajpath the capital’s broadest avenue, for a view of the Parliament House, the President’s House and India Gate. Visit the Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar and Birla Temple. Evening is at leisure. Overnight at Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi - Agra (03 hrs)

After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Agra later proceed to Agra city tour - visit the world famous Taj Mahal (closed on Fri's) - one of the seven wonders of the world, a mausoleum built by Emperor Shahjahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, Agra Fort - The high red sandstone ramparts of this great monument stretch for almost 2.5 km, dominating a bend in the river Yamuna, northwest of the Taj Mahal. The foundation of this majestic citadel was laid by the Emperor Akbar, and it developed as a stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations. Evening is free for shopping activities. Day 4: Drive from Agra to Samode (04 hrs)

After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to samode - Samode is a large town in Rajasthan, above the palace is the overgrown Samode Fort – ask around and you’ll find someone to let you in – where there are great views from the ramparts. This is also good walking country, with paths heading off into the countryside. Beneath the palace is a small village, where locals sell block-printed cloth and glass bangles. Arrive & check-in, overnight stay at Samode. Spend the day in doing leisure activities. Overnight at Samode.

Day 5: Samode - Jaipur (01 hr)

After breakfast visit Samode palace and later continue drive to Jaipur - The capital city of the state of Rajasthan is popularly known as the ‘Pink City’ of the terra-cotta-colored lime plaster that coats the old part of the city's walls, buildings, and temples. Arrive and check in. Overnight at Jaipur.

Day 6: Jaipur sightseeing

Morning, proceed for an excursion to Amber Fort - the original Palace was built by Raja Mansingh and later additions were made by Sawai Jai Singh. One of the finest example of Rajput architecture. Enjoy the ascent to the Palace on the back of a brightly caparisoned elephant. Visit the multiple chambers and hallways of the palace which are famous for their design and decorations.

Afternoon, proceed for a city tour to visit the unique Jantar Mantar, which is a magnificent stone observatory built by Raja Jai Singh in 1728 and drive past the Hawa Mahal, an intriguing “Palace of Winds”. This was really a facade built in 1799, to allow royal ladies to view the city from the windows. Later visit the opulent City Palace, the former royal residence built in a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal style which has grand museums displaying an excellent collection of miniature paintings, costumes and armory. Day 7: Drive from Jaipur to Udaipur (06 hrs)

After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Udaipur. Arrive Udaipur-an enchanting and enthralling place of limpid lakes, verdant forests, palaces, and gardens, temples, aesthetically surrounded by the Aravalli hills. Founded in 1559 AD by Maharaja Uday Singh, this is popularly known as the City of Lakes and also as the Venice of the east. Moreover, this is well eminent for the performing arts, crafts, and miniature paintings throughout India. Check-in in hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8: Udaipur

Morning tour City Palace, at this complex one will marvel at the rooms with mirrored walls and ivory doors, windows with colored glass, inlaid marble balconies and the peacock courtyard. Also visit the lovely Sahelion-ki-bari gardens, the Jagdish temple and the local museum. In the afternoon, enjoy a motor launch cruise on the placid waters of the beautiful lake Pichola, enlarged by Maharana Udai Singh after he founded the city. From the boat you will be able to view the city of Udaipur as it rises majestically above the lake in the middle of the Rajasthan desert. You can also visit the Jag Mandir Palace - which is a lovely island palace in the middle of the lake. Overnight at Udaipur.

Day 9: Fly from Udaipur to Delhi

After breakfast transfer to Udaipur airport and fly to Delhi, Arrive & check in, overnight stay at Delhi.

Day 10: Departure

After breakfast checkout from hotel and transfer to Delhi airport for onward destination.
