Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu
Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight at Kathmandu - largest city and capital of Nepal and the namesake of the Kathmandu Valley. Take a walk through the backstreets, where the capital’s timeless cultural and artistic heritage reveals itself in hidden temples overflowing with marigolds, courtyards full of drying chillies and rice, and tiny hobbit-sized workshops. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.
Day 02: Tour Kathmandu
After breakfast you will be having a guided tour of the Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swyambhu. This tour will take you through the finest specimen of Temples in Kathmandu Square, which was enlisted in UNESCO heritage site in the 70's and was one time home to the former monarchs of Nepal. Historical Temples and monuments including the Taleju, Bhairav, Kasthamandap and Kumari Temple (home of the Living Goddess) are located around the square. There is also a museum which is a huge archive of the country's history. The Patan Durbar Square, believed to be founded by the medieval rulers as early as 299 AD, has many shrines and Temples noted for their fine carving including the famous Krishna Temple with 21 pinnacles. Day 03: Drive Kathmandu – Pokhara (04 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Pokhara - is a place of remarkable natural beauty. The serenity of Phewa Lake and the magnificence of the fishtailed summit of Machhapuchhre (6,977 m) rising behind it create an ambience of peace and magic. At an elevation lower than Kathmandu, it has a much more tropical feel to it, a fact well appreciated by the beautiful diversity of flowers which prosper in its environs. Indeed, the valley surrounding Pokhara is home to thick forests, gushing rivers, emerald lakes, and of course, the world famous views of the Himalaya. Upon arrival check in. Overnight at Pokhara.
Day 04: In Pokhara
After an early breakfast you will have a morning drive to Sarankot to view the glorious sunrise and the giants of the Western Himalayan range will be a treat while the Phewa Lake offers a splendid view of the Macchapucchare peak. Afternoon a guided tour of Pokhara where you will visit some famous addresses in the city. After visiting the temple you can move around the old market surrounding the temple. This is also the starting point of trek to Sarangkot. There are a number of old buildings but these are not as old as in Kathmandu valley. These are perhaps a century old. Some old buildings at Ramkrishna and Bhairab Toles are planned to be preserved in "monument zone" to be set up in the area. Overnight at Pokhara.
Day 05: Drive Pokhara – Tansen (02 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Tansen - is a small ancient hill town situated 4300 meters above sea level. It is located on the way from Pokhara to Lumbini. Major attractions here are the ancient culture, excellent mountain views, serene atmosphere and friendly people. The weather here makes it a pleasant place to visit in any season. On clear days Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manaslu, Gauri Shankar and other peaks can be seen. Overnight at Tansen.
Day 06: Tansen – Lumbini (02 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Bhirahawa, Lumbini or also known as Siddhartha Nagar is located near the far western border to India. It is about 260 KM west from Kathmandu. City being located near the Border of India and Nepal, it plays an important role in the import and export business. It is also the gateway to the birth place of Lord Buddha, the Lumbini Zone.
Proceed to Lumbini - A place in the South-Western Terai of Nepal, evokes a kind of holy sentiment to the millions of Buddhists all over the world-as do the Jerusalem to Christians and Mecca to Muslims. Lumbini is the place Lord Buddha -the apostle of peace and the light of Asia was born in 623 B. C., Located in the flat plains of south-Western Nepal and the foothills of Churia range, Lumbini and its surrounding area is endowed with a rich natural setting of domesticable fauna and favourable agricultural environ. Historically, the region is an exquisite treasure- trove of ancient ruins and antiquities, dating back to pre-Christian era. The site, described as a beautiful garden in the Buddha's time still retain its legendary charm and beauty. Overnight at Lumbini.
Day 07: Drive Lumbini – Chitwan (03 hrs)
After breakfast dive to Chitwan National Park. Upon arrival, check-in at resort, refreshments & briefing about the programmes. Lunch at resort. Afternoon Jungle walk in the luxuriant jungle for the observation of a nature exhibiting and multiple animal species: wild tigers, leopards, jackle, antelopes... True natural inheritance of Nepal. Return to the resort - free time in the lodge. Observe large spectacle to the lodge putting in scene the incredible fauna of Chitwan and the Tharu tribes. Overnight at Chitwan.
Day 08: At Chitwan
Morning breakfast at the resort. Safari on the Elephant back in the reserve of Chitwan without disturbing the life of inhabitants of the reserver, leave in search the last rhinoceroses one horned of Asia. Return to resort for Lunch. Later jeep drive towards Rapti River for safari in dugouts to observe birds and fauna. Overnight at Chitwan.
Day 09: Chitwan – Daman
After breakfast you will be driven to Daman - has some of the most fantastic views of the Himalayas. It has a great view of the mountains from Dhaulagiri to Mt Everest. Daman is halfway between Kathmandu and Hetauda at 2320m. There is a viewing tower that has a telescope (a cheap fee). There is not much in this town. On the side towards Hetauda, there are some interesting rhododendron forests. Overnight at Daman.
Day 10: Daman - Nagarkot
After breakfast you will be driven to Nagarkot - is a popular location for tourist and developed into a favourite weekend getaway among those seeking mountain views in comfort and quiet. The overwhelming panorama of the major peaks of eastern Nepal Himalayas including Mount Everest, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Choba Bhamre, Gauri Shanker and Number can be seen from here. At sunrise, the Himalayan range, stretching from dhaulagiri in the west all the way past everest to kanchenjunga in the east, emerges from the darkness to greet the happy visitors with its awe inspiring majesty & beauty. Overnight at Nagarkot.
Day 11: Departure
Today we transfer to Kathmandu airport for flight to onward destination.
