Delhi - Amritsar - Dharamshala - Manali - Shimla - Chandigarh

Day 01 Arrive Delhi
Upon arrival you will be welcomed by our representative & transferred to hotel. Delhi - capital of modern India. Many dynasties and rulers have flourished on its regal soil over the last 3000 years. The legacy still survives in many monuments varying from the 13th century mausoleum of the Lodi Kings to the buildings of British India's imperial past like the Parliament House and the Presidential Estate. Overnight at Delhi.

Day 02 Delhi - Amritsar
Today we transfer to airport for flight Amritsar - holy land known for its Golden Temple. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon pay visit to the Golden Temple - the sacred Sikh Gurudwara where the holy scripture are places. The community provides free meals to almost 10,000 pilgrims every day, tour Jalianwala Bagh - the historic site where hundreds of innocent Indian men, women and children were massacred by British General Michael dyer. Late afternoon proceed to Indo-Pak border to watch retreat ceremony - 30 kms on the road to Lahore. A visit to the border is an interesting experience. Retreat ceremony takes place with the border security force on Indian side & the Sutlej Rangers on the Pakistan side putting up a well co-ordinated & spectacular display. Evening is at leisure. Overnight at Amritsar. 

Day 03 Amritsar - Dharamshala (200 kms)
After breakfast drive to Dharamshala - best regarded as exiled capital of Dalai Lama. The Tibetan culture has become dominant form of cultures in this small yet beautiful town of state of Himachal Pradesh in India. On arrival check in. Overnight at Dharamshala.  

Day 04 Tour Dharamshala
Today tour Mcleodganj where Dalai Lama resides. Pay visit to Dal Lake, Church, Bhagsu Nag Temple and Tibetan Monastery, Jawalmukhi Temple and Chintpurni Temple are among the 51 Shaktipeeths all over in India. Overnight at Dharamshala. 

Day 05 Dharamshala - Manali (240 kms)
After breakfast we drive to Manali - the landscape here is breath taking. One sees well-defined snow capped peaks, the Beas river with its clear water meanders through the town. On the other side are deodar and pine trees, tiny fields and fruit orchards. On arrival check in. Overnight at Manali. 

Day 06 Tour Manali
Today embark on a half day city tour visiting Hadimba Temple, old Manali village and a Tibetan monastery. Evening is at leisure. Overnight at Manali. 

Day 07 Tour Rohtang Pass
After breakfast drive to Rohtang Pass – 51 kms from Manali on highway to Leh. It offers a panorama and spectacular mountain view. The pass is open from June to October each year. Return late afternoon and relax. Overnight at Manali.

Day 08 Manali - Shimla (250 kms)
Morning drive for Shimla - once the summer capital of India during the British Raj. Enroute visit the famous Kullu Shawl Industry. On arrival check in. Overnight at Shimla. 

Day 09 Tour Shimla
Today proceed on a half day excursion to Chail - located 43 kms from Shimla was a former summer capital of the Maharaja of Patiala. The town is built on three hills, one of which is topped with the Chail Palace, the other with the Chail village, and the third one by the Snow view mansion. 03 kms from the village lies the world's highest cricket ground at a height of 2,250 metres. Later return to Shimla and visit Christ Church, Jakhu Temple & Shimla State Museum. Evening is to catch up with some shopping on the Mall road. Overnight at Shimla.

Day 10 Shimla - Chandigarh (120 kms)
After breakfast drive to Chandigarh - India’s greenest, cleanest and prosperous city. On arrival check in. Later proceed on a guided city tour, visit the Capitol complex, Pinjore Gardens and Rock Garden. Evening is at leisure. Overnight at Chandigarh.Day

Day 11 Departure

Today we transfer to Chandigarh airport for your onward flight.
