Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Upon arrival you will be welcomed by our representative & transferred to hotel. Delhi - capital of modern India. Many dynasties and rulers have flourished on its regal soil over the last 3000 years. The legacy still survives in many monuments varying from the 13th century mausoleum of the Lodi Kings to the buildings of British India's imperial past like the Parliament House and the Presidential Estate. Overnight at Delhi.

Day 02: Tour Delhi

Morning breakfast at hotel later proceed on a tour of Old Delhi, visit the Red Fort, Raj Ghat - a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, Ashoka Pillar and the mile-long Chandni Chowk bazaar. Later tour New Delhi, drive along Rajpath the capital’s broadest avenue, for a view of the Parliament House, the President’s House and India Gate. Visit the Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar and Birla Temple. Evening is at leisure. Overnight at Delhi.

Day 03: Delhi – Jaipur (05 hrs)

After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Jaipur - The capital city of the state of Rajasthan is popularly known as the ‘Pink City’ of the terra-cotta-colored lime plaster that coats the old part of the city's walls, buildings, and temples. Arrive and check in. Overnight at Jaipur.

Day 04: Jaipur city tour

Morning, proceed for an excursion to Amber Fort - the original Palace was built by Raja Mansingh and later additions were made by Sawai Jai Singh. One of the finest example of Rajput architecture. Enjoy the ascent to the Palace on the back of a brightly caparisoned elephant. Visit the multiple chambers and hallways of the palace which are famous for their design and decorations.

Afternoon, proceed for a city tour to visit the unique Jantar Mantar, which is a magnificent stone observatory built by Raja Jai Singh in 1728 and drive past the Hawa Mahal, an intriguing “Palace of Winds”. This was really a facade built in 1799, to allow royal ladies to view the city from the windows. Later visit the opulent City Palace, the former royal residence built in a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal style which has grand museums displaying an excellent collection of miniature paintings, costumes and armory. Day 05: Jaipur – Ranthambhore (03 hrs)

Today after breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Ranthambore National Park - one of the prime examples of India’s conservation programme, Project Tiger. Once the hunting ground of Indian princes, this national park stands atop a 600 m high hill range, and is covered with thorn trees, scrub and grasslands. Dotted with beautiful ponds, streams, lakes and old ruins, it is the home of the tigers of Ranthambhore that have often been photographed by visitors from all over the world. On arrival check in. Overnight at Ranthambore.

Day 06: Jungle Safari

Early in the morning, you will leave for the park by jeep, accompanied by a naturalist. Return for breakfast. Revisit the game park in the evening. And even if you don’t spot a tiger on your visit, Ranthambore will enthral you with more than 400 kms of amazing landscape. Evening is at leisure in Ranthambore.

Day 07: Ranthambore – Agra (05 hrs) via fathepur sikri

After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Agra, enroute visit to Fathepur sikri 16th century abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri. This ghost town is remarkably well preserved and presents a perfect synthesis of Muslim, Hindu and Jain architecture. The sculptured columns bear mute testimony to this gallant experiment to unite Hindus and Muslims. Continue your drive and check in. Overnight at Agra.

Day 08: Agra tour & drive to Gwalior (03 hrs)

After breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed to Agra city tour - visit the world famous Taj Mahal (closed on Fri's) - one of the seven wonders of the world, a mausoleum built by Emperor Shahjahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, Agra Fort - The high red sandstone ramparts of this great monument stretch for almost 2.5 km, dominating a bend in the river Yamuna, northwest of the Taj Mahal. The foundation of this majestic citadel was laid by the Emperor Akbar, and it developed as a stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations. After lunch drive to Gwalior, overnight stay at Gwalior.

Day 09: Gwalior tour

Full day city tour covering The Fort- Standing on a steep mass of sandstone, Gwalior Fort dominates the city and is its most magnificent monument, Man Mandir- Built by Raja Mansingh between 1486 and 1517. The tiles that once adorned its exterior have not survived, but at the entrance, traces of these still remain. There is a charming frieze here of ducks paddling in turquoise waters., Teli Ka Mandir -The Teli ka Mandir is a 9th century edifice, towering at 100 ft high. This is a Pratihara Vishnu temple of a unique blending of architectural styles. Sas Bahu Temple -This Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, built in 11th century. Man singh Palace – a delightfully whimsical building, Jai Vilas Palace & Museum - piece de resistance, overnight stay at Gwalior.

Day 10: Gwalior – Shivpuri (03 hrs)

Morning drive to Shivpuri. The National park in Shivpuri known as Madhav National Park, which has an area of 156 sq km in area, the park is open throughout the year. With a varied terrain of wooded hills, the forest being dry, mixed and deciduous with flat grasslands around the lake, it offers abundant opportunities of sighting a variety of wildlife. The predominant species that inhabits the park is the deer, of which the most easily sighted are the graceful little Chinkara, the Indian gazelle, and the Chital. Other species that have their habitat in the park are Nilgai, Sambar, Chausingha or four-horned Antelope, Blackbuck, Sloth Bear, Leopard and the ubiquitous common Langur.

The National Park is equally rich in avifauna. The artificial lake, Chandpata, is the winter home of migratory Geese, Pochard, Pintail, Teal, Mallard Gadwall, Red Wattled Lapwing, Large Pied Wagtail, Pond Heron, White - Breasted Kingfisher, Cormorant, Painted Stork, White Ibis, Laggar Falcon, Purple Sunbird, Paradise Flycatcher and Golden Oriole. Overnight stay at Shivpuri

Day 11: Shivpuri

After breakfast free day for jungle activities, Morning game viewing. Return back to hotel, overnight stay at Shivpuri.

Day 12: Shivpuri – Orccha (03 hrs)

After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Orccha, enroute visit to Karera Bird Sanctuary - the thorny open country of the Karera Sanctuary houses the haughty Great Indian Bustard and the equally snooty blackbuck. But blackbucks and bustards are not the only wildlife that roams Karera. There are many other variety of birds and animals that have made it their habitat. There are resident water birds too like the black-bellied river terns, egrets, and spoonbills. Other birds found here are herons, Indian robins, as also insects like dragonflies, damselflies, and butterflies. Karera is one of the last refuges of the great Indian bustard. Continue drive to Orccha, arrive & check-in, overnight stay at Orccha.

Day 13: Orccha tour

After breakfast proceed to Orchha sightseeing – is the erstwhile capital city of the bundela rulers. The town is steeped in history and is famous for its palaces and temples built in the 16th and 17th centuries. Visit Orchha fort complex, located on an island on river Betwa. Four-arched bridge leads to the fort complex on the island. The Jahangir Mahal, which was built by Bir Singh Deo in the early part of the 17th century to mark the visit of the Mughal Emperor, is an important monument of this fort. Later continue your drive and check in. overnight at Orccha.

Day 14: Orccha – Khajuraho (04 hrs) & Khajuraho city tour.

After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Khajuraho, aarive & checkin keep baggage later proceed to Khajuraho city tour - visit to the famous chandela dynasty Temples, which are set in a lovely grass park. The existing temples are divided into three groups – western, eastern, and southern. The western group is most famous, and it is   designed by UNESCO as world heritage site. These temples are amazing – rising in many peaks and spirals intricately carved and designed with statues and friezes. The erotic carving on these temple walls have made this one of the most talked about tourist site in the country and perhaps, unmatched in the world.

Day 15:Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh (05 hrs)

This morning drive to Bandhavgarh - one of India’s famous nature reserves. Hidden deep within this forest are a wide variety of wild animals that you will see on your forays. Indian tigers, leopards, bears, sambar, chital, nilgai (the blue bull), chinkara and wild boar. In the evening you will drive through the park and see the animals at their watering holes. On arrival check in. Overnight at Bandhavgarh.

Day 16: Jungle Safari

Start early on a dawn visit to the jungle in hunt of the ever elusive tiger. The rest of the day is the day is to experience a nature walk with professional lodge naturalists. In the evening, take another trip into the jungle. Overnight at Bandhavgarh. 

Day 17: Bandhavgarh - Kanha (05 hrs)

Today drive on to another wildlife park, Kanha - in the heart of India’s Kipling country. Known for open grasslands, dense deciduous forests, and high plateaus that offer great opportunities to spot wildlife while riding an elephant or a jeep. Later in the morning, see tigers sunning themselves on the rocks, herds of the chital spotted deer, or the once rare barasingha (swamp deer) relaxing in their natural surroundings. Look out for dhole, the reddish dog-like animals, the elegant blackbuck, the 4-horned antelope or tiny mouse deer. In the evening, take another jeep ride into the park. Overnight at in Kanha.

Day 18: Kanha – Raipur (04 hrs)

After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Raipur - is a city in the Raipur district of the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. Raipur city had been the capital of the Haihaya Kings, controlling the traditional forts of Chhattisgarh for a long time. The town of Raipur has existed since the 9th century, the old site and ruins of the fort can be seen in the southern part of the city. Overnight stay at Raipur.

Day 19: Fly from Raipur – Delhi

After breakfast checkout from hotel and transfer to Raipur airport and fly to Delhi for onward destination.
