Day 01: Arrive New Delhi
Upon arrival you will be welcomed by our representative & transferred to hotel. Delhi - capital of modern India. Many dynasties and rulers have flourished on its regal soil over the last 3000 years. The legacy still survives in many monuments varying from the 13th century mausoleum of the Lodi Kings to the buildings of British India's imperial past like the Parliament House and the Presidential Estate. Overnight at Delhi.
Day 02: Tour Delhi
Today proceed on a tour of Old Delhi, visit the Red Fort, Raj Ghat - a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, Ashoka Pillar and the mile-long Chandni Chowk bazaar. Later tour New Delhi, drive along Rajpath the capital’s broadest avenue, for a view of the Parliament House, the President’s House and India Gate. Visit the Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar and Birla Temple. Evening is at leisure. Overnight at Delhi.
Day 03: Early morning flight to Leh from Delhi. (06:25 hrs – 07:45 hrs )
Today transfer to airport for flight to Leh - capital of Ladakh situated towards the eastern parts of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies on the crossroads of the historic 'Silk Route' from Sinkiang to West Asia and to the plains of India. On arrival check in. Day at leisure to acclimatise to the altitude difference. Overnight at Leh.
Day 04: Tour Leh
After breakfast tour Sankar Gompa, a branch of the Spituk Monastery. Continue to the Shanti Stupa built by Japanese who harboured the ambition of spreading Buddhism across the world. Afternoon, visit the ruins of Leh Palace, modelled on the famous Potala Palace in Lhasa. Overnight at Leh.
Day 05: Leh - Lamayuru - Ule
After breakfast drive to Lamayuru. Enroute visit Likir monastery, Magnetic hill and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. On arrival check in. Post lunch visit the mesmerising moon landscapes and the Lamayuru monastery which is one of the oldest monastery in central Ladakh. Overnight at Ule.
Day 06: Ule - Leh
Today drive to Leh. Enroute visit Alchi monastery and Hall of Fame. On arrival check in. Overnight at Leh.
Day 07: Leh - Nubra Valley
This morning, drive to Nubra Valley, popularly known as Ldorma or "the valley of flowers" via Khardungla pass - the world's highest motorable road (5602 mts). On arrival check in. Later in the afternoon visit the main Diskit monastery and the giant statue of Maitreya Buddha which is the tallest Buddha statue in Ladakh inaugurated in 2010. Later visit the white sand dunes at Hunder where you can enjoy the camel ride. Evening is at leisure. Overnight at Nubra.
Day 08: Nubra Valley - Leh
Today drive to Leh. Enroute visit Samstanling monastery on the other side of Nubra valley. Continue your drive to Leh via Khardongla pass. The rest of the evening is at leisure in Leh. Overnight at Leh.
Day 09: Leh - Pangong
In the morning, proceed to visit the amazing Pangong lake to the east of Leh, crossing Changla Pass 17500 ft / 5300 mts. Pangong is one of the largest lakes in the Himalayas spanning 140 kms in length and 3-10 kms in width, half of which is in Tibet. Explore the crystal clear blue salt water lake. Overnight at Pangong.
Day 10: Pangong - Leh
This morning, proceed for Leh, once again driving via Changla pass, the world's 3rd highest motorable road. Evening is at leisure to explore the Leh bazaar for souvenirs or visit Leh Jokhang / Leh mosque by foot. You can take easy walk to explore Moti Market, Nowhere bazaar and Super market etc. The Balkhang chowk Apricot street is an interesting visit. Overnight at Leh.
Day 11: Departure
Today we transfer to Leh airport for your onward flight.
