DAY 01: ARRIVE AUCKLAND - Welcome to new Zealand

Arrive Auckland International Airport. Once you have cleared Customs & Immigration, enter the arrival lounge where your driver will be waiting to meet and greet you. Be transferred to your accommodation. Depending on flight arrivals, day at leisure or take an optional tour of Sky Tower Total Experience (Ride + Access to SKyDeck) Nothing compares to the 360 degrees views of Auckland City that you will get from the viewing platform once you have ridden up the SkyTower lift. As you walk around taking in the views the free hand held audio guide gives a fascinating commentary on the sights and view from each window. For added excitement those who dare can stand on the glass floor panels and see the view down to street level. Overnight at hotel. 

DAY 02: AUCKLAND - WAITOMO - ROTORUA

Breakfast at hotel.
Morning Visit Auckland/Waitomo/Rotorua including Caves Travel through the horticultural farmland and into the lush dairy farm areas. After this continue through the ever changing scenery through Hamilton the Bridge City onto the Waitomo region where we stop at todays highlight, your guided tour through the famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves which have spectacular limestone formations and the roof is studded with the lights of thousands of tiny Glowworms. After your cave experience continue past Lake Karapiro and picturesque Fitzgerald Glade to arrive in Rotorua. Overnight at hotel. 

DAY 03: ROTORUA

Today discover Rotorua - 3 Sights Tour The Grand Experience is a morning sightseeing excursion around Rotorua city visiting three of the most popular attractions in the region. The first stop is Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve and Te Puia formerly known as the Maori Arts and Crafts institute. A guided tour takes visitors through Te Puia where the traditional crafts of Flax weaving and wood carving are passed down from generation by tribal elders. 
Enjoy the tour of the thermal reserve, viewing the many boiling mud pools, hot springs and geysers. A short drive takes you to Rainbow Springs, the quiet majesty of the native bush, ferns, trees and plants that defines Rainbow Springs Nature Park as uniquely New Zealand. Its the crystal clear cold water that flows tirelessly from subterranean springs. Its the silent grace of the magnificent specimens of Rainbow, Brown and Tiger trout cruising the deep fern fringed pools. We are also home to many of New Zealand's native birds, the 'cheeky' kaka, the inquisitive kea, the majestic keruru (wood pigeon) plus many more delightful characters. Then see the world famous Agrodome. A must see stage show starring New Zealands 19 sheep breeds with shearing and Dog trials as well.

DAY 04: ROTORUA - CHRISTCHURCH

10:00 am Hotel to Rotorua Airport Transfer Please be aware that there is a NZ$5.00 per person "Departure tax" at Rotorua airport that needs to be paid before you can board your flight.
On your arrival at Christchurch be met by our transfer driver who will deliver you to your hotel. Overnight at hotel. 

DAY 05: CHRISTCHURCH

Today Visit Christchurch Tour including Antarctic Centre The tour commences by covering the central city highlights, including Cathedral Square, Victoria Square, the Avon River, Town Hall, the floral clock, Law Courts, Provincial Chambers, Christ's College, Museum, Botanical Gardens, Arts Centre and the Bridge of Remembrance. On leaving the inner city, the tour then travels to Mona Vale an historic homestead and Gardens. We then travel to the Sign of the Takahe, a historic building providing spectacular views over the city, Canterbury Plains and to the Southern Alps. The tour then travels to the seaside of Sumner where we stop at Cave Rock. We return to Christchurch via the Port Hills, the Port of Lyttelton and the Lyttelton tunnel, back to the city. Following on a trip to the International Antarctic Centre, which recreates the atmosphere of Antarctica with a Snow and Ice Experience and the Blue Penguin Encounter Finally returning to your original departure point.

DAY 06: CHRISTCHURCH - QUEENSTOWN WITH VISIT TO MT. COOK

Morning Visit Queenstown/Mt Cook/Christchurch The Mount Cook Wander begins from Queenstown with a short trip up the Kawarau River Gorge into Lindis Pass and over the MacKenzie Basin to Mount Cook National Park. During your stop at Mount Cook there is an opportunity for an optional scenic flight or lunch at the restaurant. Leaving Mount Cook, return to Lake Pukaki following the shores to meet up with the main highway. Continuing your journey to Lake Tekapo you stop briefly to view the "Church of the Good Shepherd" and the bronze "Collie Dog" statue signifying the rural history of the area. From here you drive through the Canterbury Plains the largest area of flat land in New Zealand, arriving at Christchurch you will be delivered to the intercity coach depot. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 07: QUEENSTOWN

Queenstown Highlights Tour This morning you will join a spectacular morning tour highlighting the 'Must-Do" sights and attractions in Queenstown and Arrowtown visiting the following:
1) Queenstown Hill: The most spectacular photo opportunity in Queenstown. Queenstown Hill offers spectacular panoramic views over the town centre, Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables Mountain Range. Remember to bring your camera for picture postcard photo opportunities. 
2) AJ Hackett Bungy Bridge: Visit the Kawarau Bungy Bridge, the home of the original bungy jump. The birth place of bungy jumping as we know it and mecca for all adrenalin junkies. Get a behind the scenes look at how bungy jumping started, how bungy cords are made and privileged access to restricted viewing platforms. 3) Gibbston Valley Winery: A chance to savour a selection of four locally produced wines and browse through the winery's well stocked delicatessen and gift shop. Gibbston Valley Wines and winemaker Grant Taylor are on top of the world after the 2000 Reserve Pinot Noir was named Champion Pinot Noir and winner of the Burgundy and Pinot Noir Trophy at the world's largest and most prestigious wine competition in London. 
4) Lord of the Rings Flim Site - "Pillars of the Kings": Be transported to Middle Earth at the Kawarau Gorge, film location for the Pillars of the Kings in the famous move trilogy, another excellent photo opportunity.
5) Captivating Arrowtown: Lastly we visit the beautiful town of Arrowtown. The picturesque town retains its old world charm through careful preservation of its colourful history and colonial style architecture. Highlights are the Lakes District Museum, Remarkables Sweet Shop and the great shops and cafes in the high street. 
On completion of your tour, be returned to Queenstown or your hotel around 12.30pm

DAY 08: DEPART QUEENSTOWN - CAIRNS

Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer for your flight to Cairns. Arrive Cairns, transfer to the hotel by coach. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 09: GREEN ISLAND TOUR 

Breakfast at hotel. Full day Green Island tour with lunch. Enjoy the ride on semi submersibles and glass bottoms to see the marine life of Great Barrier Reef. 
Overnight at hotel.

DAY 10: CAIRNS - SYDNEY 

Breakfast a hotel. Transfer to airport for your flight to Sydney. Arrival at Sydney airport and transfer to your pre booked hotel. Showboat Dinner Cruise: In the evening make your own way to Kings wharf & get ready for Sydney's unique attractions the Sydney Show Boat Dinner Cruise. Enjoy a spectacular cabaret show by the show boat Follies as you cruise the famous Sydney Harbour & enjoy the magnificent sights.

DAY 11: SYYDNEY 

Breakfast at hotel. 
Tour the highlights of Sydney and see the Opera House and Darling Harbour. Cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge and see spectacular views of the bridge, the harbour and the skyline. Visit Manly Beach and tour through Sydney's northern beaches. No drop off. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 12: SYDNEY 

Breakfast at hotel. Travel over Sydney Harbour Bridge for a full circle tour of the Blue Mountains. Sheer escarpments, rugged bushland and awe-inspiring views from mountain lookouts. Ride the Scenic Railway, Scenic Cableway and Skyway Cable Car (own expense) and see the Three Sisters rock formation. Visit an Australian Wildlife Park, meet unique Australian animals and perhaps have your photo taken with a cuddly Koala! Overnight at hotel. 

DAY 13: SYDNEY - MELBOURNE

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport by coach for your flight to Melbourne. Arrive at Melbourne and transfer to hotel. Day at leisure.

DAY 14: PHILLIP ISLAND Breakfast at hotel. 
Travel by coach via the Bass Highway to Phillip Island. On Phillip Island visit the Koala Conversation Centre and view the fur seal and mutton bird colonies. Dinner (own expense) in Cowes then on to watch the penguins waddle ashore and make their way to their burrows in the sand dunes. Arrive in Melbourne approx 4 hours after sunset. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 15: MELBOURNE - BRISBANE - GOLD COAST

Breakfast at hotel. 
Transfer to Brisbane airport for your flight to Brisbane. Arrive Brisbane and transfer to hotel of your choice at Gold Coast by coach. Day at leisure to enjoy Gold Coast and its beautiful beaches. You can do some amazing shopping at Pacific Fair or gamble at the Conrad Jupiters. 
Overnight at hotel. 

DAY 16: SEA WORLD

Breakfast at hotel. 
Full day visit to Seaworld. A visit to Australia's No.1 tourist attraction. Marvel at the dolphin and sealion aquatic show. See divers hand feed sharks, stingrays and gropers. Visit the 3D theatre to view the new "Pirates" movie and enjoy the dozens of thrilling rides including the famous Corkscrew roller coaster and the mysterious Bermuda Triangle. Late afternoon, transfer back to hotel and at leisure. 
Overnight at hotel. 

DAY 17: MOVIE WORLD

Breakfast at hotel. 
Full day visit to Movieworld. Stunt Shows, special effect stages and adventures in the 4th dimension. See your favourite Looney Tune cartoon characters and tour through a live working film studio. Experience "Lethal Weapon" - the ride, marvel at the Maverick illusion and magic show and take the thrilling waterborne ride through the Wild Wild West. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 18: DEPART GOLD COAST - BRISBANE

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Brisbane airport for your departure flight.
