Day 01: Day 01 Arrive Delhi

Upon arrival you will be welcomed by our representative & transferred to hotel. Delhi - capital of modern India. Many dynasties and rulers have flourished on its regal soil over the last 3000 years. The legacy still survives in many monuments varying from the 13th century mausoleum of the Lodi Kings to the buildings of British India's imperial past like the Parliament House and the Presidential Estate. Overnight at Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi tour

Morning breakfast at hotel later proceed on a tour of Old Delhi, visit the Red Fort, Raj Ghat - a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, Ashoka Pillar and the mile-long Chandni Chowk bazaar. Later tour New Delhi, drive along Rajpath the capital’s broadest avenue, for a view of the Parliament House, the President’s House and India Gate. Visit the Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar and Birla Temple. Evening is at leisure. Overnight at Delhi.

Day 03: Delhi – Agra - Chambal Sanctuary (03 hrs)

After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Agra, continue drive to Chambal Sanctuary - is a land that has retained its unique landscapes, rugged charm and rare wildlife. The valley is fast emerging as an exciting new destination, given its unique and unpolluted habitat and the consequent rich diversity of life forms that it supports. On arrival check in. We have arranged for you to visit the Sarus Crane conservation area. A large wetland interspersed by cultivated fields where large numbers of Sarus Cranes breed. Overnight at Chambal.

Day 04: In Chambal

This morning you will explore the river by boat in search of the colonies of rare Indian skimmer, greater thicknee, the comb duck, brahmani duck, kingfishers, fishing eagles, flamingos, and many more. Your afternoon is free perhaps take one of the Nature walks with the resident naturalists early evening is the best time to go in search of Palm Civet Cats, Foxes, Jungle Hares, Fruit Bats, Hedgehogs and the Indian Striped Hyenas. Overnight at Chambal.

Day 05: Chambal – Bharatpur (02 hrs)

After breakfast we drive to Bharatpur, known for Keoladeo Ghana National Park is arguably India's most spectacular bird sanctuary. Close to Agra, this small park was created by the Maharaja of Bharatpur to hold duck shoots but later became a sanctuary and now attracts an abundance of birdlife. On arrival check in. Evening is at leisure. Overnight at Bharatpur.

Day 06: In Bharatpur

This morning you will make your way to Keoladeo where you will take a slow cycle rickshaw ride through the sanctuary. The sanctuary boasts 370 species of birds, of which 150 are migrants, some come as far afield as Siberia, swelling the local bird population to around half a million. Overnight at Bharatpur.

Day 07: Bharatpur – Agra (03 hrs) & Agra tour.

After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Agra later proceed to Agra city tour - visit the world famous Taj Mahal (closed on Fri's) - one of the seven wonders of the world, a mausoleum built by Emperor Shahjahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, Agra Fort - The high red sandstone ramparts of this great monument stretch for almost 2.5 km, dominating a bend in the river Yamuna, northwest of the Taj Mahal. The foundation of this majestic citadel was laid by the Emperor Akbar, and it developed as a stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations. Evening is free for shopping activities. Overnight stay in Agra.

Day 08: Agra to Delhi & Departure

After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Delhi and later transfer to Delhi airport for onward destination.
